Veterinary students are preparing to enter a field where technology plays an important role in daily clinic work. On April 23, 2025, Kreloses worked with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) to present a session that connected academic learning with real clinic experience.
Students had the opportunity to see how modern veterinary clinics operate through live demonstrations, practical case examples, and insights from the team behind a trusted clinic management software.
Connecting Theory with Real Clinical Practice
The session began with Soo, who introduced Kreloses and its growing role in advancing veterinary care across the region. She shared how clinics use the system to manage daily tasks like digital medical records, inventory, and appointment scheduling and how these tools not only save time, but also improve accuracy and client experience.
Hanif then presented a walkthrough of a typical clinic workflow, showing how a structured digital approach can organize each step of the client journey from check-in to follow-up. This made it easier for the students to see the practical application of their studies in a working clinic.
Aisya continued with a live demonstration, using real clinic scenarios to show how Kreloses addresses common challenges. She also introduced Sweetpew, the online booking platform connected with Kreloses, which received positive interest from the students. The session ended with an interactive discussion where students shared their own experiences and considered how digital tools might support them in the future.
Student Reflections
The students showed interest throughout the session, especially when discussing how digital tools could improve processes they had seen during internships or clinic visits. Sweetpew stood out as a feature that could help simplify appointment scheduling and improve communication with clients.
Several students noted that the session helped them understand how technology plays a role in supporting clinic teams, not just in managing tasks but also in providing consistent service.
Supporting Learning Through Exposure
This session was designed to give students exposure to the kind of systems they may encounter in future workplaces. By learning how tools like Kreloses function in a real setting, students were able to connect their coursework to day-to-day clinic activities.
We appreciate the opportunity to learn together with the students and faculty at UPM. Sessions like these are part of our ongoing effort to support education and practical readiness in the veterinary field.
